The Dhekiakhowa Bor Namghar is revered place of worship near the Majuli Island in Jorhat district. Built by the vaishnav Saint Madhavdeb (a great disciple of Srimanta Sankardeb) this Namghar was completed in 1539 after a long 42 years. Deities of Lord Hanuman and Lord Ananta (Seshnag) adorn this place of worship.
